I hate how fragile human memory is, how it fails to transcend the infinite dimensions of time and space. I have this feeling that I've met you before, but I can't place when and where and how. Hell, I can't even remember your face. And yet, when I close my eyes and enter the space of reality where the lights are blurry and it sounds like I'm underwater, it's almost like I can touch you. In my dreams, I trace the line of your veins, like studying a map that leads to the heart of Rome. I dance with you, and we glide across multiple lifetimes where our souls always find each other, no matter the distance or how long it takes.

At first, I dismissed these dreams as silly fantasies of a lonely heart and mind. After all, life brings me long years and slow days. Whenever I try to speak your name, a melody comes out and it is the sweetest sound I have ever heard.
