Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) has once again proven its commitment to transparency and responsible governance after clinching its fourth consecutive Golden Arrow Award, improving to a 4-arrow recognition in the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).
The energy company earned an impressive score of 105.52 out of 130 in the 2024 ACGS assessment, which evaluates publicly listed firms based on shareholder rights and equitable treatment, sustainability and resilience, disclosure and transparency, and board responsibility.
AboitizPower previously earned 3-arrow recognitions in the last two ACGS cycles, following a 4-arrow win in 2021. The latest recognition reflects the company’s consistent compliance with regional corporate governance standards and alignment with international best practices.
Representatives from the Aboitiz Group received the awards in ceremonies recognizing top-performing corporations. Attending on behalf of their respective companies were UnionBank of the Philippines SVP for Regulatory Compliance Cyril Arnesto, AboitizPower AVP for Governance & Compliance and Corporate Secretary Clarisse Osteria, and Aboitiz Equity Ventures VP for Governance & Compliance Mailene De La Torre, along with team members from across the Aboitiz Group.
The Golden Arrow Awards are organized annually by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) to honor publicly listed companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in corporate governance, as measured by the ACGS framework developed by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum.
AboitizPower’s latest recognition underscores its drive toward maintaining excellence in governance as it continues to power the nation’s sustainable energy future.
