Vice President Sara Duterte believes that the creation of a commission tasked to investigate anomalous government infrastructure projects was meant to "control and legitimize" its narratives.
"Ito na mag-case build up gamit ang resources ng Office of the President at i-file nila yun diretso kung saan man na korte," Duterte said in an interview during her visit to Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan on Saturday.
According to Duterte, the ICI controlled the flow of the investigation while covering up the allies of the Marcos administration.
