After years of navigating heartbreak and healing, comedienne and actress Pokwang has found her peace — not in romance, but in herself, her children, and her craft.

In her candid guesting on #FastTalkWithBoyAbunda, the Kapuso star didn’t mince words when asked about love. “Hindi na, wala na, Tito Boy. Wala na. Ayaw ko na,” she said with finality. “Tama na, okay na ako sa mga anak ko. Okay ako sa negosyo ko. I’m happy.”

Pokwang, who shares a daughter, Malia, with ex-partner Lee O’Brian, said her focus now is on motherhood and building her career. With a laugh, she even quipped that it would take something extraordinary to win her heart again: “Bilhan niya ako ng island.”

Beyond her thriving food business and family life, Pokwang remains active in showbiz. She’s currently part of #StarsOnTheFloor on GMA, where she showcases her first love — dancing — as one of the Dance Authorities alongside Marian Rivera and Coach Jay, the choreographer behind SB19’s performances.

“Mas doon ako sa dance talaga,” Pokwang recalled. “Na-discover ko na lang na puwede pala akong magpatawa.”

She also shared stories from her early years as a dancer in Japan — a time filled with youth, energy, and ambition. “Fresh-freshan ako noon. Bagets pa ako, Tito! Tapos ang buhok ko noon, kasi uso pa ang kulot ni Mariah Carey,” she laughed.

Pokwang reflected on how beauty standards have changed — and how she’s learned to embrace her natural Filipina color with pride. “Ngayon, mas na-adapt ko ang kulay ng Filipina. Mas gusto ko ngayon ang kulay ko,” she said.

From dancing in Japan to becoming one of the country’s most beloved entertainers, Pokwang’s story is one of resilience and reinvention. Today, she dances to her own rhythm — no longer searching for love, because she’s already found happiness where it truly matters: within herself.
