The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (GPCCI) is set to host “Mabuhay Germany 2025: In High Spirits” on 7-8 November at Bonifacio Global City’s High Street Central Square — a two-day showcase of trade, culture, and innovation celebrating German excellence and Filipino creativity.
In a press event held at the German Club Manila on 16 October 2025, GPCCI executives previewed the festival’s highlights, which aim to deepen bilateral business and cultural relations.
“This year’s edition will highlight opportunities in trade, sustainability, technology, and education, underscoring the continued growth of bilateral collaboration,” the GPCCI said in a statement.
“Mabuhay Germany 2025 is more than a celebration; it is a testament to the enduring friendship and shared values between the Philippines and Germany,” said GPCCI President Marie Antoniette Mariano. “We warmly invite everyone to experience the heart of our community through innovation, cultural exchange, and meaningful economic collaboration.”
Organized in partnership with the German Embassy in Manila, the event highlights Germany’s position as one of the Philippines’ leading trading partners and a key proponent of sustainable innovation and skills development.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, total bilateral trade between Germany and the Philippines reached €4.1 billion (P264 billion) in 2024, marking a steady increase from €3.9 billion the previous year. Germany remains the Philippines’ largest trading partner in the European Union, with electronics, machinery, and automotive components making up a significant share of exports and imports. German companies have also invested heavily in renewable energy and manufacturing, contributing to over 60,000 local jobs.
The 2025 fair will feature business exhibits from both German and Filipino firms, company pitches, and panel discussions on artificial intelligence integration, green technology, and bilateral cooperation. A Job Fair and On-the-Spot Recruitment will connect jobseekers with leading employers, while networking sessions and cultural performances will promote cross-sector collaboration.
Since its launch in 2008, Mabuhay Germany has been the only trade fair in the Philippines dedicated exclusively to strengthening German-Filipino economic and cultural ties. GPCCI continues to serve as the official representative of German businesses in the country, facilitating partnerships and promoting innovation.
“Mabuhay Germany 2025 presents exciting opportunities for meaningful connection, learning, and collaboration,” said GPCCI Executive Director Christopher Zimmer. “We look forward to welcoming both the German and Filipino communities to take part in the activities, engage in insightful discussions, and celebrate the strong and evolving partnership between our two nations.”
