Xavier, ICA show way in JGFP Interschool

Xavier School and Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) continued to show why they’re the gold standard in junior golf, dominating the leaderboard after five intense rounds of the JGFP Interschool Tournament.

Xavier put on a commanding performance, leading five divisions — Lower School Division 3, Middle School Division 2, Junior High Divisions 1 and 3, and Senior High Division 1. The boys from San Juan showed depth and consistency, proving once again that their golf program is one of the strongest in the country.

Not to be outdone, ICA made its presence felt on the girls’ side, stamping its class in Lower School Division 1, Middle School Division 3, and Junior High Division 3 — a testament to the school’s growing dominance and the rise of its young talents.

Other schools also made strong statements in their respective brackets: De La Salle Zobel leads Lower School Division 2, Home School Global tops Middle School Division 1, PAREF Southridge heads Senior High Division 2, while Brent International School Manila 2 shines in Senior High Division 3.

With competition heating up, the next battles move south — to Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa and The Vineyard Golf Club in Tanauan, Batangas — where the country’s top young golfers will again test their nerves, skill, and school pride in pursuit of interschool glory.
