A recent investigation into the death of TikTok influencer, Emilie Kiser’s son revealed that her husband, Brady Kiser, allegedly placed a $25 bet on a New York Knicks playoff game shortly before their son drowned outside their home.
According to the New York Post, Kiser placed the $25 DraftKings bet on Celtics’ Jayson Tatum 75 minutes before seven-year-old Trigg was found in the water.
In a report first reported by People on August 8, the child had been left unsupervised for more than nine minutes and was “in the water for seven of those minutes.” Emilie was reportedly 20 minutes away from home, while Brady was inside attending to their newborn son.
Responders arrived after Kiser pulled his son from the water and called 911, but it was too late. Detectives concluded that the father’s “divided attention” led to Trigg being left unattended for several minutes.
“During two interviews, he did not know what the boy was doing before he fell in and did not see [Trigg] struggling to swim,” police stated.
