The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) will host its annual Alumni Awards Night on 16 August at Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman. The event will honor distinguished alumni from around the world who have made significant contributions in their fields.
This year’s awardees were selected by a Board of Judges composed of leaders in education, government, science, business and the arts.
The awards recognize alumni whose work has had a lasting impact on society.
The celebration will continue on 17 August with the General Alumni Homecoming, where alumni from all generations will reconnect and celebrate their ties to the university.
This year, the UPAA will honor jubilarian batches from the classes of 1965, 1975, 1985 and 2000.
The two events reaffirm the UPAA’s mission to honor excellence, foster unity and celebrate the legacy of the University of the Philippines and its global alumni network.
