More than P1 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from three suspects, including a woman, in a drug buy-bust operation in Marikina City on Wednesday night.
Arrested in the operation were identified only by the alias Albert, 26, listed as a high-value individual; alias Joven, 32, a street-level individual; and alias Ange, 42, all residents of Marikina City.
The suspects were apprehended in an operation conducted by operatives of the Marikina City Police Station's drug enforcement unit in Barangay Concepcion Uno, Marikina City, at about 7:15 p.m.
Confiscated from the suspects were one knot-tied transparent plastic bag and ten heat-sealed sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, weighing approximately 150 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P1,020,000.
Alias Albert and his two cohorts were turned over to the Marikina City Police Station custodial facility.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
