CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — The Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark, a 143-bed facility, is expected to open by the end of 2025, creating hundreds of jobs and significantly improving healthcare access in the region.
According to Atty. Agnes Devanadera, CEO and president of the Clark Development Corporation, the hospital is a collaborative project involving the Pampanga Provincial Government, the Department of Health, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation and the CDC.
This initiative represents a major investment in healthcare infrastructure and workforce development.
Devanadera highlighted the project’s multifaceted benefits, emphasizing not only expanded healthcare services for over 100,000 Freeport workers and nearby residents but also substantial job creation potential.
The hospital’s staffing needs will encompass a wide range of healthcare positions, from medical professionals to administrative support staff, stimulating local economic activity.
Its design includes 17 private rooms, 16 semi-private rooms, and 110 ward beds. The estimated P465 million investment includes about P158 million allocated for medical equipment.
“This project is a testament to the collaborative efforts of various government agencies and the private sector, aimed at providing enhanced healthcare services and bolstering the local economy,” Devanadera said.
