Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced the suspension of at least eight flights to and from northern Luzon, citing unsafe weather conditions due to the storm's presence over Northern and Central Luzon. Affected routes include Tuguegarao, Cauayan, and Basco, with both Manila and Clark departures impacted.
Cancelled PAL flights include:
PR2014/2015 (Manila – Tuguegarao – Manila)
PR2018/2019 (Manila – Cauayan – Manila)
PR2932/2933 (Manila – Basco – Manila)
PR2688/2689 (Clark – Basco – Clark)
Passengers booked on these flights were advised not to proceed to the airport and instead avail of PAL’s rebooking, refund, or travel credit options. Flexible rebooking is available within 60 days of the original flight date.
In the Bicol Region, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) – Area V reported multiple flight cancellations as of 8:30 AM, also due to adverse weather.
At Masbate Airport, two Cebgo flights between Cebu and Masbate were canceled, affecting 123 passengers. In Naga Airport, four Cebgo flights connecting Manila and Naga were grounded, affecting 284 passengers. Meanwhile, in Virac Airport, Cebu Pacific canceled two Manila-Virac flights, with 336 total passengers impacted.
CAAP attributed all cancellations to unfavorable weather conditions at the affected local stations and advised passengers to coordinate with their airlines for rebooking or refunds.
The public is urged to monitor weather updates and advisories from relevant authorities.
