DigiPlus Interactive Corp., through its social development arm BingoPlus Foundation, has pledged P2 million to fund scholarships for 50 aspiring tech professionals.
The initiative, in partnership with Edukasyon.ph, aims to bridge the gap between technology education and careers for Filipinos.
The program, called FutureSmart, will provide selected scholars with a 12-week workforce development training through the AWS re/Start program.
After completing the training, Edukasyon.ph will help graduates find jobs within three months, with opportunities at DigiPlus and its network of tech partners.
A ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement was signed last 26 May at AWS Philippines in Bonifacio Global City.
The event included leaders from DigiPlus, BingoPlus Foundation, Edukasyon.ph, and Amazon Web Services, all committed to equipping young Filipinos with in-demand cloud and tech skills.
This initiative is part of DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation’s broader mission to create opportunities in the digital economy.
The FutureSmart Program has previously helped more than 5,000 students and teachers nationwide through scholarships, training, and job pathways.
Earlier this year, the program was recognized with a Gold Stevie Award for Excellence in Social Impact at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards in Seoul, which the company said was a testament to the program’s impact and the value of strategic partnerships.
As demand for digital skills continues to grow, DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation said they remain dedicated to investing in future-ready education and inclusive employment opportunities.
