Artificial intelligence isn’t just changing how people work — it’s redefining what it takes to succeed at work. At Globe Telecom, AI is already embedded across departments, from hiring and risk management to marketing and network operations.
According to Microsoft’s 2024 Work Trend Index, 75 percent of knowledge workers globally are now using AI on the job. Yet only 39 percent have received formal training. Still, most believe AI skills are essential for staying competitive — an insight Globe appears to be acting on.
“We’re using AI to speed up automation, improve decision-making, and make operations more responsive,” said Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz. “But innovation only matters if it creates real impact.”
In HR, Globe’s switch to AI-assisted recruitment — using the HireVue platform — has slashed hiring time from weeks to days. Video and coding assessments allow hiring teams to process data faster and make better-informed decisions. The effort has earned Globe international recognition, including the 2025 HireVue Impact Star Award.
AI is also helping Globe’s Risk Management team deliver faster insights by automating transcription, analysis, and reporting. Dashboards now visualize risks in real time, supporting more strategic and bias-free decision-making.
In Network Operations, AI tools streamline diagnostics, forecast data loads, and even shut down low-traffic transceivers to save energy — an effort tied to both cost savings and sustainability.
Marketing teams are leaning into generative AI for content creation, knowledge sharing, and campaign execution. Tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Canva Magic Studio help them keep pace with the business, while internal search engines and AI-managed resources improve productivity behind the scenes.
Even customer service is getting an AI boost through expanded chatbot use and language models that enhance sentiment analysis and plain-language data queries.
As AI becomes more central to Globe’s operations, the company sees it not just as a tech upgrade — but a cultural shift in how it works, hires, and connects.
“Our ambition is clear,” said Cruz. “We want Globe to be among the most future-ready organizations in the region.”
