In a recent Pride Month vlog, social media star Mimiyuuuh offered followers an intimate look into his bond with his father, Tatay Amadz — showing a different side of himself beyond the humor and high-energy content fans have come to expect.
The video, filmed over a “shot puno” session, began with laughter and casual storytelling but gradually unfolded into a raw and emotional exchange. The moment highlighted not just their father-child dynamic but also the quiet strength of parental love and understanding.
“Proud talaga ako sa tatay ko at saka grateful ako na ikaw ang tatay ko,” Mimiyuuuh said, voice cracking. “Ang wini-wish ko talaga, in my next life, sana ang tatay ko pa rin ang tatay ko.”
Mimiyuuuh recalled how, as a child, he cherished simple routines like waking up to his father’s home-cooked meals. “’Yun ’yung mga something na nilu-look forward ko talaga,” he said, reflecting on how these small gestures created a strong emotional foundation.
For his part, Tatay Amadz also got candid about how he came to understand and accept Mimiyuuuh’s identity. “College ko na nalaman na bading siya, sa mga kilos at suot niya,” he said, speaking with honesty and calm acceptance.
The heartfelt vlog has since resonated widely online, especially within the LGBTQ+ community, as a reminder of the importance of support, communication, and love within families.
