Reigning MPL PH champion Team Liquid PH clinched victory in the Sibol Mobile Legends combine on Sunday, securing the right to represent the Philippines at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand this December.
Led by head coach Rodel “Ar Sy” Cruz, the powerhouse roster of KarlTzy, Sanford, Sanji, Jaypee, and Oheb outplayed Nine Lives in a 3-1 triumph in the best-of-six finals. The winning squad deployed a formidable lineup featuring Kalea, Pharsa, Granger, Akai, and Gloo.
Despite the win, the final composition of the Philippine national team for Mobile Legends remains fluid. Training for the SEA Games is expected to begin soon, and standout players from other teams may still be added to the roster at the discretion of coach Ar Sy.
The Philippines remains a dominant force in Mobile Legends esports, having bagged three consecutive gold medals in previous SEA Games tournaments.
