Workers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) unload thousands of Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF) packs at the North Port Passenger Terminal in Manila on the afternoon of 27 June 2025.
The prepositioning of RTEFs is part of a memorandum of agreement between the DSWD and the Philippine Ports Authority, designating selected PPA-managed port terminals across the country as access points for faster relief response during emergencies and in cases of trip cancellations or suspensions.
