Kaiyi Auto Philippines has teamed up with Xpress Super App in a move that could bring more electric vehicles (EVs) onto Philippine roads, particularly in urban and nearby provincial routes.
The partnership puts Kaiyi’s EVs, including the new E-Qute 04, into the fleet of Xpress.ph, a mobility and logistics app that combines ride-hailing, delivery, and payment services. Pilot programs will kick off in Metro Manila and South Luzon, where the EVs will be tested in daily transport and delivery operations.
Kaiyi Auto Philippines Managing Director Anton Ibarle said the goal is to offer smarter, cleaner ways for Filipinos to get around. “This partnership with Xpress Super App marks a significant milestone,” he said, adding that the collaboration is about combining sustainability with innovation.
Marketing Manager Mayka Reyes added that the project highlights the brand’s approach to “modern sophistication” and “practical technology,” not just selling cars, but helping improve daily mobility for people and businesses.
Xpress Super App has been carving out a niche in the tech-mobility space by packing multiple services into one app. Now with Kaiyi onboard, the platform takes a step toward electrification, a move that supports the growing shift to greener transport, especially as demand continues to rise.
The two companies hope the partnership can support not just private users, but also local governments and eco-conscious businesses looking for clean transport options.
With EVs becoming more viable and technology platforms becoming more central to daily commutes and logistics, both sides believe this is just the start of a bigger shift in how people move around.
