Bosch car service gets certified boost

Bosch Car Service just hit a new milestone. The auto shop chain, which operates under ACMobility, has been officially named the first authorized partner of VinFast in the Philippines. This means Bosch Car Service can now handle Level 2 servicing for VinFast’s growing lineup of electric vehicles.

The partnership was made official at the Bosch Car Service branch in Bacoor, with leaders from both companies present during the signing. With this move, Bosch can now carry out advanced diagnostics, software updates, campaign repairs, and warranty-related services for the Vietnamese EV brand.

It’s no small feat; this accreditation wasn’t handed over lightly. Bosch had to complete VinFast’s own technical training program, which is no walk in the park. But now that they’re in, they’re aiming big. Ten Bosch Car Service centers are expected to be ready for VinFast EVs by the end of June 2025.

Steve Gingco, who heads ACMobility’s AutoCare and Retail Group, said the new partnership shows their commitment to keeping up with the times. “As the country shifts toward electric mobility, we’re making sure we’re not just keeping up, we’re leading the charge,” he said.

Bosch Car Service has long been known for its ability to handle everything from basic repairs to more complicated electronic issues. This new tie-up with VinFast puts them at the forefront of EV servicing in the Philippines. It also adds another layer of support for anyone thinking of going electric, especially with VinFast now entering the local market.

With this setup, owners of VinFast EVs now have a solid aftersales network to count on, one that’s already trusted, trained, and spread across the country.
