Police operatives in Las Piñas City arrested a 19-year-old male suspect — listed as the station’s seventh most wanted person for June — during a warrant service operation on 13 June.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Liam,” is unemployed and a resident of Barangay CAA. He was apprehended around 7 AM by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section, led by PCPT Jay Joseph M. De Guzman.
According to police, the arrest stemmed from a warrant issued by Judge Victor Ramirez Aguba of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 197 on January 21. Liam faces charges for illegal possession of firearms under Republic Act No. 10591, with recommended bail set at P120,000.
The accused opted to remain silent following his arrest. He is currently detained at the Las Piñas Police Station Custodial Facility while awaiting the court’s issuance of a commitment order.
Authorities emphasized that the arrest is part of ongoing operations to locate fugitives and ensure public safety throughout Metro Manila’s southern district.
