Senator Bong Go led the oath-taking of several newly elected local officials from various parts of the country at the Senate on Wednesday, 9 June.
Among those sworn in were:
Pila, Laguna Vice Mayor-elect Egay Ramos and councilors;
Bauan, Batangas Mayor-elect Wendah Dolor, Vice Mayor-elect Ronald Cruzat, and councilors;
Candaba, Pampanga Mayor-elect Rene Maglanque and Vice Mayor-elect Thelma Macapagal; and Masantol, Pampanga Mayor-elect Danilo Guintu;
Lamitan, Basilan Vice Mayor Hegem Furigay and councilors; and Zamboanga City Councilor Vladimir Jimenez;
Valencia, Bukidnon Mayor-elect Amie Galario and Vice Mayor-elect Cecille Galario; and
Manila City Councilor Jesus Fajardo Jr.
Senator Go expressed hope that the newly sworn officials would serve with compassion and integrity, always prioritizing the welfare and interests of Filipinos.
