Two of Singapore’s top culinary stars have landed spots on the newly announced World’s 50 Best Restaurants extended list for 2025.
Labyrinth and Burnt Ends were both included in the 51-100 ranking revealed ahead of the official World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 ceremony, which will take place in Turin, Italy on 19 June. The extended list, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, celebrates some of the most respected dining spots globally — this year spanning 37 cities across 25 destinations.
Labyrinth ranked at No. 97, continuing its international acclaim for redefining Singaporean cuisine. Under the leadership of Chef LG Han, Labyrinth was honored by presenting a bold reinterpretation of local flavors through fine-dining tasting menus.
Diners experience a creative journey rooted in the island’s hawker culture — but reimagined with modern precision. Among its playful signatures is chilli crab ice cream, a dish that encapsulates the restaurant’s inventive spirit.
Meanwhile, Burnt Ends secured the No. 93 spot. Known for its trademark wood-fired cooking, the Singapore staple is helmed by Chef Dave Pynt and Executive Chef Patrick Leano. Dishes are imbued with layers of smoke and char from open flames and custom-built ovens — a style that has made Burnt Ends a must-visit for discerning gourmands.
In recent years, Leano’s Filipino heritage has also enriched the menu with flavors that complement the restaurant’s bold, flame-driven creations.
The full World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list will be unveiled on 19 June.
