Eala, Venus join forces anew
The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) opened slightly higher on 5 June 2025, adding 4.31 points or 0.07% to 6,382.87 as of 10:40 AM. The broader All Shares Index also climbed 0.20% or 7.71 points to 3,776.29.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS) led early gainers among the most active stocks, rising 4.31% to P61.75 on P128.7 million in trades. Bloomberry Resorts Corp. (BLOOM) followed with P172.6 million in value, edging up 1.58% to P5.13. Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) added 1.46% to P24.25.
Preferred and consumer stocks also saw gains. Cirtek Holdings’ TCB2A rose 14.29% to P0.08, while Del Monte Pacific Ltd. (DELM) and Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI) jumped more than 7%.
Meanwhile, the day’s early losers were led by GMA Holdings, Inc. (GMAP), which plunged 15.18% to P4.36. Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corp. (PMPC) dropped 10.76%, and APC Group, Inc. (APC) slipped 10.71%.
