Savoy Hotel Manila is celebrating its seventh anniversary on 28 June, marking nearly a decade of delivering heartfelt Filipino hospitality, award-winning service, and guest-centered innovation.
Opened in 2018, the hotel has become a top choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience near the airport. As part of the Megaworld Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Savoy Hotel Manila has continued to evolve, integrating cultural and sustainability-focused initiatives like its Sampaguita Service Brand, introduced in 2023.
“As we continuously strive to enhance our operations, we remain committed to delivering the heartfelt Filipino service and hospitality our Guests truly deserve,” said General Manager Den V. Navarro, a hospitality veteran with 27 years of experience across destinations including Dubai, Beijing, Bangkok, and Phuket.
Navarro described the property as “more than just a hotel,” calling it “a comforting stop” for guests preparing for or recovering from travel.
Savoy Hotel Manila has earned accolades from both local and international bodies, including the World Travel Awards’ title of Philippines’ Leading Airport Hotel and recognition from the UN Environment Programme, Green Destinations Story Awards, and the Department of Tourism.
The hotel is also praised for its value-driven service, Muslim-friendly facilities, and Sampaguita-inspired multi-sensory experiences — from welcoming scents and local music to curated wellness amenities and signature Filipino dishes.
Hotel management credited its success to the continued support of loyal guests and the dedication of its team, whom it called “the heart of the house.”
As it enters its eighth year, Savoy Hotel Manila said it remains focused on delivering authentic experiences, uplifting Filipino culture, and pursuing excellence through sustainability and service.
