Marcos Jr., together with the First Family, led the official launch of the Family Fare 1+3 Promo for the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the GMA-Kamuning Station in Quezon City. Pahihintulutan na ng Department of Transportation ang paggamit ng mga e-money kagaya ng Gcash, Maya o maging ang mga credit cards bilang bagong payment option o paraan ng pagbabayad sa LRT at MRT simula sa susunod na buwan o Hulyo.

Bahagi ito ng planong pagpapatupad sa cashless turnstiles sa ilalim ng automatic fare collection system na kung, maaaring i-tap ng direkta ang mobile phone o card sa gate ng tren. Hindi na kailangan pang pumila para bumili o magreload ng Beep card.

Ang pagbabago na ito ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na gawing mas episyente ang paggamit sa mga pampublikong transporatasyon at magkaroon ng mas bukas at flexible na payment system na konektado sa lahat, katulad ng ginagamit sa mga pangunahing lungsod sa ibang mga bansa.

Patuloy din ang pagkilos at koordinasyon ng DoTr sa mga transport operators at service provider upang matiyak na magiging maayos ang implementasyon. Magkakaroon muna ng pilot testing bago ang opisyal na pagsisimula nito.
