To meet the growing energy needs of Pasig City, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has activated its newly built Arcovia Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substation.
The facility, built by the Pangilinan-led Meralco, is equipped with two sub-transmission lines designed to enhance power reliability and flexibility in Pasig. It is set to support major developments in the area, including Arcovia City, E-PLDT’s Vitro Pasig Data Center, ComClark Network and Technology, and Universal Robina Corporation.
This initiative forms part of Meralco’s continued efforts to modernize its distribution network and maintain the delivery of safe and stable electricity in response to rising demand.
