Zaijian Jaranilla and Jane Oineza star in Si Sol at si Luna, a new digital series premiering May 31 on YouTube.
Jaranilla portrays Sol, a film student tasked with documenting a form of love he has never experienced. His quest leads him to Luna, a woman whose silence conceals deep pain, played with haunting subtlety by Oineza.
Best known for his breakout role in May Bukas Pa, Jaranilla brings a gentle resolve and vulnerability to Sol, capturing the search for both inspiration and meaning.
Oineza, meanwhile, delivers one of her most affecting performances yet: as Luna, she balances inner strength with raw emotion, making her character both enigmatic and relatable.
Directed by Dolly Dulu, Si Sol at si Luna features cinematic framing and layered dialogue. Produced for Puregold’s digital platform, the series also showcases Joao Constancia, Karina Bautista and Cheena Crab in supporting roles.
Don’t miss the premiere episode, “Babae sa Bus,” as Zaijian Jaranilla and Jane Oineza illuminate a love story that lingers, quiet, aching and profoundly human.
