Continuing the project that is close to the heart of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, the Inter-Agency Council for the Pasig River Urban Development convened to take a closer look at the proposed designs for key riverfront areas of the Pasig River.

According to Mrs. Marcos, these will highlight the areas spanning Arroceros to Makati’s waterfronts and the Rizal Global City Esplanade.

“Each plan reflects our shared dream: a Pasig River that brings together nature, heritage and community – a space where families can gather, children can play, and culture can thrive,” she said.

The First Lady is overseeing the plans for Phase 4 of the Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli project.

Fans of Mrs. Marcos lauded her leadership and vision in reviving the Pasig River.

“Fantastic initiative! The collaboration between agencies is sure to bring positive changes to the Pasig River area,” one social media user wrote.

“It is nice to hear that the plan includes having an esplanade and playgrounds – a real space for a happy community,” another commenter said.

“A beautiful reminder that urban development and nature can go hand in hand. Great work,” still another social media user said.

Meanwhile, the First Lady met with wine connoisseurs for a “lovely evening” as she graced Bordeaux Rendezvous 2025.

Mrs. Marcos enjoyed fine wine with friends such as Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go, Maynard Ngu, and other guests.

“Beyond the vineyards and vintages, this night was about growing something deeper – partnerships that uplift our Filipino farmers, winemakers and those who make our tourism industry shine,” she said.

“Big cheers to Cork Philippines and Maison Barrière for bringing this experience to life,” she added.
