Police on Tuesday arrested two more suspects in connection with the kidnapping and killing of businessman Anson Que, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said.
In an interview with DZBB, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said that of the five suspects in the case, only one — identified as “Jonin Lin” — remains at large.
According to Fajardo, Lin was among those who held the victims captive for nearly 10 to 11 days at Martha Street in Barangay Langka, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
The suspects were apprehended at a high-end resort in Boracay, Aklan. Fajardo said the Bureau of Immigration held inquest proceedings Monday for violations of immigration laws and on the grounds of “undesirability.”
She also confirmed that a P10 million reward has been offered for credible information leading to Lin’s whereabouts.
An autopsy report released in April showed that Que and his driver, Armanie Pabillo, died of strangulation. Authorities said Que was killed despite a P200-million ransom payment.
