Newly elected Marikina City Mayor Maan Teodoro reported Monday a forced entry and attempted theft at the city’s First District Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) building.
Teodoro, who succeeded her husband Marcy Teodoro as mayor, said the incident disrupted services at the office.
“We regret to inform everyone that there was a forced entry and attempted theft at our district office in the OSCA building,” Teodoro said in a statement.
Teodoro, the outgoing Marikina First District representative, asked for public understanding regarding the service disruptions.
“Because of this, it may cause temporary disruptions to some of our services. We ask for your understanding for any inconvenience this may cause,” Teodoro said.
“We assure you that all steps are being taken to restore operations to normal as quickly as possible and to maintain the safety of everyone,” she added.
