The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Tuesday that the 2025 midterm elections in Metro Manila concluded peacefully and orderly, with no major security incidents reported.
In a statement, the NCRPO credited months of detailed preparation, continuous monitoring, and real-time coordination with election stakeholders for the smooth electoral process, which it described as a model of law and order.
More than 22,000 NCRPO personnel, supported by allied forces, were deployed across precincts, transportation hubs, and key routes to ensure public safety throughout Election Day.
It also reported only minor public safety issues, which were promptly addressed. It emphasized that no significant security problems occurred within voting areas and their surroundings.
The NCRPO said the peaceful outcome reflects not only operational success but also the increasing political maturity and civic responsibility of Metro Manila residents.
As official election results are being tallied, the NCRPO reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the democratic process and upholding the will of the people.
The NCRPO also stated that security coverage will continue until the end of the election period, with adjustments to security measures expected based on the prevailing situation.
