Foodpanda Logistics recently wrapped up its nationwide Mobile Legends tournament, Panda Legends: Ride & Conquer, which saw delivery partners from across the country battling for a share of nearly P1,000,000 in prizes.
This tournament was part of foodpanda Logistics’ ongoing efforts to foster a sense of community among its Ka-panda riders, extending engagement beyond the typical workday.
The event unfolded in several stages, starting with regional qualifying rounds and regional championships, all leading up to the grand finale in Metro Manila.
“Our goal is to engage with our Ka-pandas not just on the road, but through activities they enjoy, like gaming. This Mobile Legends tournament gave them the chance to showcase their skills, strengthen bonds, and have fun in a competitive setting,” said Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead at foodpanda Logistics.
Supported by sponsors such as GoTyme, DITO, Motivo and Kawasaki, the event provided a high-energy and rewarding experience for all involved.
For many riders, gaming became an enjoyable way to unwind after long hours of deliveries.
John Lloyd Trasmote, a Ka-panda biker from Cebu City, noted, “This is a great opportunity for us to bond and show off our gaming skills. It’s exciting to see foodpanda Logistics supporting us through activities like this.”
Likewise, John Kenneth Mian from Davao expressed his gratitude for the event: “I’ve been playing Mobile Legends for a long time, and it’s amazing to be part of a competition with my fellow riders.”
As gaming remains a popular passion among many Ka-pandas, Panda Legends proved to be a successful initiative in bringing the community together, not just on the road, but also in the virtual arena.
“With gaming continuing to resonate with so many of our riders, Panda Legends has been a fantastic way to unite our community, both in real life and in the digital world,” Sanders added.
