The Philippines has earned two spots on the 2025 list of the World’s 50 Best Beaches, Malacañang announced Monday.

According to Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro, Entalula Beach in El Nido, Palawan ranked second, while Bonbon Beach in Romblon placed 38th on the global list.

"Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay na kahanga-hanga ang ganda ng Pilipinas at sa ating global standing bilang isa sa mga pinagmamalaking beach destination sa buong mundo (This recognition is proof that the beauty of the Philippines is truly remarkable and that our global standing as one of the most celebrated beach destinations in the world is well-deserved)," Castro said.

She described Entalula Beach as having postcard-like limestone cliffs and clear waters, which distinguish it from other beaches, while Bonbon Beach was praised for its glorious sandbar and peaceful environment.

"Tunay na pinapakita ng ating isla ang pinakamaganda sa ating bansa (Our islands truly showcase the very best of what our country has to offer)," she added.

Castro also highlighted the Marcos administration's National Tourism Development Plan and its campaign, “Love The Philippines.” She said the Department of Tourism continues to implement sustainable tourism practices for the country’s coastal destinations, while also focusing on community development and preserving national heritage.
