The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) continues to expand its national shelter initiatives, overseeing 81 projects expected to provide permanent housing to about 160,000 homeless beneficiaries under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

SHFC president and CEO Federico Laxa said the corporation’s unwavering efforts, under the leadership of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, reflect their deep commitment to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s national shelter agenda. “We aim to uplift communities and improve quality of life through inclusive urban development,” he said.

“We are not just building houses — we are building hope, dignity, and opportunity for every Filipino family,” Laxa added. “We are making the dream of a decent and secure home a reality for our workers and their families.”

As of April, SHFC also reported that more than 300 Notices of Award from the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) have been issued to beneficiaries, formalizing the approval of their loan applications for 4PH projects.

This milestone, according to Laxa, “brings families one step closer to realizing their dream of moving into their new homes."

“Our team is working tirelessly to deliver more housing projects under the 4PH program, demonstrating our commitment to addressing housing needs efficiently and high-quality outcomes for the communities we serve.” Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando City, Pampanga is ready to welcome its first batch of residents.

Across the regions, several 4PH projects are nearing completion, with beneficiary relocation already underway in some areas. The first batch of homeowners has transferred to their respective units at People’s Ville in Calinan District, Davao City and RizalVille in Barangay Banlic-Uwisan, Calamba City, Laguna, while Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando City, Pampanga is now “move-in” ready.
