SAN JUAN, Ilocos Sur — Police here led by Lt. Reynald “Bong” Ramos, Deputy Chief of Police, arrested Saturday a lady drug pusher after she was caught in a buy-bust operation, while a loose firearm was also surrendered to the police.
Also, a local political candidate surrendered his caliber gun to the police for safekeeping.
Major Benjamin S. Raquedan, chief of police, reported that his men, led by Lt. Ramos, in coordination with Drug Enforcement Agency, arrested a Street Level Individual during an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Bannuar, San Juan, Ilocos Sur.
Major Raquedan said the operation resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old female suspect for selling a sachet of suspected “shabu” to a poseur-buyer. However, another individual involved in the illegal drug activity, identified but currently at large, ran away during the operation.
Recovered from the scene were a total of eight (8) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing approximately 5.474 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P37,223.20.
