Major Benjamin S. Raquedan, chief of police, reported that his men, led by Lt. Ramos, in coordination with Drug Enforcement Agency, arrested a Street Level Individual during an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Bannuar, San Juan, Ilocos Sur.
Major Raquedan said the operation resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old female suspect for selling a sachet of suspected “shabu” to a poseur-buyer. However, another individual involved in the illegal drug activity, identified but currently at large, ran away during the operation.
Recovered from the scene were a total of eight (8) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing approximately 5.474 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P37,223.20.
