The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has announced an adjustment to its decade‑old Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for all CAAP‑operated airports.
The increase, determined after the required disclosure and public hearing with stakeholders, reflects inflation from 2015 to the present.
This adjustment aligns with CAAP’s objective to enhance airport operations and facilities while improving the traveler experience. The agency remains committed to providing safe, efficient, and high‑quality aviation services nationwide.
The revised PSC rates will apply to airline tickets purchased starting April 21 2025.
According to a memorandum dated April 14, the PSC for international flights will rise from P550 to P900, or USD 17, per departing passenger.
For domestic flights, the PSC is set at P350 per passenger departing from international airports; P300 at primary Class 1 airports; P200 at principal Class 2 airports; and P100 at community airports.
CAAP currently operates six international airports located in Bohol, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo, Laoag, and Puerto Princesa. The authority also manages 34 primary Class 1 and 2 airports, along with 35 municipal airports.
