The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is prepared to ensure public safety and security during the observance of Holy Week, QCPD director P/BGen. Melecio Buslig Jr. said Tuesday.
“With thousands of residents and visitors expected to participate in religious activities and travel during the Holy Week, QCPD has prepared security measures to help ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly celebration throughout the city,” Buslig said.
He added that a total of 1,858 uniformed personnel will be strategically deployed across key locations in Quezon City.
These areas include churches, transportation hubs and terminals, major roads, commercial areas, border control points, law enforcement checkpoints and other areas where people will gather.
