Submit delivery logs, LTFRB orders shopping platforms

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has ordered five online shopping platforms to submit updated lists of their accredited truck-for-hire partners as part of a nationwide crackdown on illegal delivery services.
Acting LTFRB chair Greg Pua Jr. gave Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, TikTok Shop and SM Retail three working days to submit their records.
Pua said the order aims to identify legitimate delivery operators.
Violators face penalties, including the impounding of motor vehicles and fines of up to P200,000 per unit.
The LTFRB will also intensify anti-colorum operations nationwide.
