Brooke Van Sickle, Petro Gazz’s high-flying winger, was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2024–2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference, capping an all-around performance that saw her impact nearly every facet of the game.
The Filipino-American standout from Hawaii turned heads with her all-around savvy, breaking into the league’s top 10 in scoring, spiking, blocking, digging and receiving — while leading the serving charts with a 0.50 percent aces per set.
Van Sickle finished third in scoring with 191 kills off 232 attacks, while also ranking second in spiking with a 37.60 percent success rate, anchoring Petro Gazz’s successful campaign with her firepower and floor game.
Joining Van Sickle in the list of top individual awardees is Creamline’s Kyle Negrito, who secured back-to-back Best Setter honors.
Negrito averaged 4.85 excellent sets per frame with 194 running sets and 1,267 still sets, proving once again her value as the Cool Smashers’ primary playmaker.
On the wings, PLDT’s Savi Davison and Creamline’s Bernadeth Pons were named Best Outside Spikers.
Davison posted a 39.35 percent spiking efficiency, earning her first-ever individual award in the league.
Pons, meanwhile, added to her growing list of accolades with a 34.35 percent success rate, marking her third PVL award following her two MVP titles.
The Best Middle Blocker honors went to Creamline’s Bea de Leon and ZUS Coffee’s Thea Gagate. De Leon averaged 0.78 blocks per set, while Gagate wasn’t far behind with 0.77, both earning their first individual citations in the PVL.
Farm Fresh’s top scorer, Trisha Tubu, clinched her second Best Opposite Spiker award after tallying 188 spikes on 513 attempts for a 36.65 percent success rate.
Completing the list of awardees is Choco Mucho’s Thang Ponce, who continued her strong run as the league’s top floor defender with her fourth Best Libero award.
The 31-year-old libero’s consistent presence in the back row proved pivotal for the Flying Titans throughout the conference.
