    • Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference
    • PLDT High Speed Hitters

    Games tomorrow:

    (Smart Araneta Coliseum)

    1:30 p.m. --- Farm Fresh vs Nxled

4:00 p.m. --- Est Cola vs Ho Chi Minh City

    6:30 p.m. --- PLDT vs Creamline

Defending champion PLDT kept its back-to-back championship hopes alive behind the inspired performance of Savi Davison in a 25-16, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, rebound win over Farm Fresh to halt a two-game slide in the 2026-2027 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Davison submitted monster numbers on both offense and defense to power the High Speed Hitters to their second win in four outings to stay in the hunt for a winner-take-all final berth.

The Filipino-Canadian had a triple-double of 32 points, 14 excellent receptions and 10 digs for PLDT, which needed two hours and four minutes to dispose of the skidding Foxies.

“I think we just really tuned in on how we can contribute to the team and that's fulfilling our own role individually and coming ready to do that,” Davison said.

“I think when we think too much about everyone on the court, it kind of takes away from your own responsibility. So, I'm glad that we were able to trust in each other today and distribute and contribute and finish it through. So, I'm just glad that we were able to do it together,” she added.

Davison had 28 attacks, including the game-winning back-to-back hits, and four kill blocks as the High Speed Hitters built momentum heading to a must-win clash against powerhouse Creamline on Sunday.
