Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. (AII), the 10-year-old infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, teems with women leaders. Competence aside, they have their own inspirations that empower them to climb the corporate ladder. As the company marked Women’s Month in March, some of AII’s pride shared the inspiration that drives them to succeed in their roles in an inclusive working environment.
Dani Balinas, executive assistant at the office of the CEO of AII, looks up to her older sister, a doctor. ‘Her ability to balance life — excelling at work, leading her organization, and now starting a new chapter in marriage — is admirable.’
Liza Dimaculangan, external affairs manager at Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, says her mother is her greatest role model. ‘As a hardworking and independent businesswoman and accounting graduate, she has shown me the value of working smarter and being self-reliant. She inspires me to pursue my goals with determination and contribute meaningfully to those around me.’
Ricia Montejo, head of reputation and customer experience at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, cites her former mentor. ‘I learned that leading in a fast-paced world like airports requires resilience to overcome challenges and empathy to connect with others. Their example inspires me to strive for excellence while creating an environment where everyone can thrive.’
