ILOILO CITY — Partylist group Kaunlad Pinoy (#133) energized the streets here during a recent motorcade, advancing its mission to empower local entrepreneurs and communities. First nominee James “Kuya Choi” Napoles led the convoy through bustling markets, drawing enthusiastic crowds.

The day began with dialogues featuring community groups including Global Community Brotherhood Inc. and Sulong GUGMA, plus local traffic enforcers. Napoles stressed creating sustainable businesses to boost regional growth.

“Business isn’t just for the wealthy. Every Filipino deserves the chance to start their own livelihood,” he told attendees. “That’s why Kaunlad Pinoy exists — to help you begin.”

The team later addressed a stadium crowd in San Miguel, reinforcing its three-part mission: financial literacy, business education and startup capital access.

Napoles paused to dance with senior citizens while reminding voters: “You can only choose one partylist on your ballot. Choose the one with concrete solutions for your future.”

In Pavia, Napoles highlighted economic realities. “Being an employee often isn’t enough. And government assistance has limits,” he said, pledging not just training but seed capital to transform aspirations into enterprises.
