Newly appointed Miss Universe Philippines national director Ariella Arida shared a special moment with reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig, who recently visited the Philippines for a special event appearance.
Taking to Instagram, Arida posted a photo with Theilvig, accompanied by an empowering message: “As Women’s Month ends, we salute every woman turning dreams into reality, radiating confidence, and ruling her world, just like our reigning Miss Universe.”
Arida, the Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up, officially took over as MUPH national director, succeeding Shamcey Supsup-Lee, who led the organization for four years.
The Philippines remains a dominant force in international pageantry, having produced four Miss Universe winners: Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray (2018). With Arida now at the helm, fans eagerly anticipate how she will guide the country toward another historic victory.
