Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras are as much the superstars as the shoes they are representing.
Sporting Adidas OG Superstar II sneakers at a recent event, Alcantara speaks of originality and finding one’s style. “It’s not easy to find uniqueness in the world. Find inspiration and make it your own,” she says.
Superstars, Sambas and Spezial are just some of the iconic sneaker silhouettes that Adidas is highlighting in its latest campaign in the Philippines with Zalora.
“Adidas is a sports brand and the culture born from it. Through The Original, we celebrate individuality and the pioneers who dare to be different. This collaboration with Zalora in the Philippines brings a unique fusion or global sneaker heritage and local culture, reinforcing our commitment to authenticity and self-expression,” Dave Sexton, Adidas Philippines general manager, says.
In collaboration with Adidas, the e-commerce platform is holding a pop-up store at One Ayala Mall until 30 March. Shoppers can enjoy the convenience of in-store order collection, allowing them to take home their purchases instantly — eliminating the usual time for delivery. Every purchase also comes with exclusive freebies, including a Zalora tote bag and a P500 voucher that can be won through interactive games.
Samsung tablets are placed around the store so customers can browse the Zalora app while a live DJ plays.
“At Zalora, we are always looking for innovative ways to elevate the shopping experience. By introducing in-store order collection, we are giving our customers the best of both worlds — online convenience and offline immediacy. Our 13th anniversary is a celebration of our shoppers, and we’re thrilled to mark this milestone with Adidas and our community,” Aashish Midha, Zalora Philippine chief executive officer, said.
Zalora’s 13th anniversary sale also includes discounts across Lacoste, Polo Ralph Lauren, GAP, Marks & Spencer, COS, Desigual, Casio, Crocs, Forever 21, Havaianas and Samsonite.
The Original pop-up store is located at the second level concourse of One Ayala Mall.
