Aurora team captain and roamer Renejay elaborated on how he made Estes work against Team Liquid PH on Week 4 Day 2 of MPL Season 15 last Saturday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.
The trademark hero of his former team Blacklist International, Estes last appeared on MPL a year ago until Aurora drafted him in Game 3 against Team Liquid PH.
The pick turned out well for Aurora, as it paved the way to victory en route to improving its perfect standing to 6-0 while giving Team Liquid PH its first defeat as they dropped to 6-1.
"What I did with going to the gold lane at level 1, I think that was unexpected and unpredictable," Renejay said at the post-match press conference.
"That was how we took the early lead because I did good with Domeng."
Being ex-teammates with M3 World Championship MVP Oheb, Renejay knew exactly how to play against the former leading to an early lead and then a victory for Aurora.
"I changed my mind in game," Renejay revealed.
"What I was supposed ot do was go mid but I suddenly made the call with Domeng. Our early was a success because Domeng had a huge gold lead over Oheb because of what we did."
