Makati most wanted finally falls
Operatives from the Makati City Police apprehended a fugitive nurse — listed among the top 10 most wanted in Makati City — in a law enforcement operation.
The suspect, who had been evading authorities, faces 11 counts of falsification of private documents.
Authorities from the warrant and subpoena section apprehended the suspect, identified as alias “Reymond,” a nurse from E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City.
Police, armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Niño Delvin Eduardo Embuscado of Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 66 in Makati City, arrested the suspect at approximately 3:35 p.m. on 14 March 2025, on Magsaysay Boulevard, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Bail was set at P36,000 per count, for a total of P396,000.
The arresting officers, led by Police Capt. Jover B. Borja of the Makati City police warrant and subpoena unit, operated under the supervision of Police Col. Jean I. Dela Torre, chief of police.
Following standard procedures, the suspect was taken to the station for documentation before the warrant of arrest was returned to the court.
Southern Police District director Police Brig. Gen. Manuel J. Abrugena commended the officers for their diligence, saying:
“The arrest of the accused is a manifestation of our commitment to bringing fugitives to justice. This operation sends a clear message that we will persist in upholding the law and safeguarding the public,” Abrugena said.
“The Southern Police District remains dedicated to maintaining peace and ensuring offenders are held accountable,” he added.
