Police arrested a 39-year-old rape suspect in Prieto Diazon, Sorsogon Thursday.
The suspect, identified as alias Buboy, is accused of raping two children in Marikina, Eastern Police District said on Saturday.
Personnel of the Marikina City Police Station, with the help of Sorsogon police, arrested the suspect under three warrants of arrest issued by the acting presiding judge of the Marikina City Regional Trial Court Branch 192 for rape, two counts of child abuse, three counts of acts of lasciviousness.
The suspect, identified as alias Buboy, was arrested by the authorities at around 8 p.m.
Armed with an arrest warrant, the suspect was arrested by joint operatives of the warrant and subpoena unit, the first provincial mobile force company of Sorsogon Provincial Police Office and Prieto Diaz Municipal Police Station.
The suspect is temporarily detained at the Prieto Diaz Municipal Police Station custodial facility while preparing to transfer him to the Marikina City Police Station.
Based on the information, the suspect is the neighbor and father of the victim’s friend. They went to the suspect’s house to watch TV and play with their friend, a child of the suspect.
