DLSU is the only Philippine university ranked in Chemical Engineering (401-450) and Communication & Media Studies (201-250).

The university is the top Philippine institution in:

• Electrical and Electronic Engineering (451-500)

• Linguistics (201-250)

• Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering (501-575)

It is also recognized as the leading private university in:

• Business and Management Studies (401-450)

• Economics & Econometrics (401-450)

• English Language & Literature (201-250)

• Computer Science & Information Systems (601-650)

This year marks DLSU’s first appearance in the Politics category (301-400) and three other areas: Communication & Media Studies, Education & Training, and Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering.

Additionally, DLSU secured rankings in the broad subject areas of Arts & Humanities (401-450) and Social Sciences & Management (451-500).

The QS World University Rankings by Subject evaluates institutions based on reputation indicators from over 240,000 employers and academics, along with metrics such as Citations per Paper, H-Index for research impact, and the International Research Network for cross-border research collaboration.
