A newborn baby was discovered in a trash can inside a women’s restroom at Manila Doctors Hospital in Malate, Manila, Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, the baby boy was found dead by a hospital janitor while she was doing her work, and she reported it to the security guard, who then called the police.
The infant was described as newborn and still had a fresh umbilical cord attached to its abdomen.
According to the cleaner, she found it while doing cleaning service on the third floor of the hospital building.
PCMS Dennis Suba, investigator from the Manila Police District Homicide section, disclosed that the body was discovered at 3:20 p.m. by Marian de los Santos Hannah, the cleaner, who found a yellow plastic bag.
