Contemporary chic resort-lounge wear brand Tilia is made for relaxed, carefree days when you just want to bask in unhurried moments. Their pieces use hablon fabric woven from locally sourced fibers like cotton, abaca and piña. They have also started to design pieces using cotton linen material. Intricate embroidery and appliques make for eye-catching details that elevate these easy-to-wear silhouettes. Some pieces are meticulously hand-loomed by a community of women from Kabankalan, Negros Occidental and skilled embroiderers. Tilia is all about unique color combinations with pretty embroidery designs that make you stand out from the crowd!
Their latest collection to be launched in Katutubo Pop-Up this weekend at the Bench Tower in Taguig City is about fun and easy-to-wear kaftans you can wear all summer. With pretty tropical leaves embroidery, tassel accents with a shorter length, the Consuelo kaftan was designed to go beyond the summer season, too, as you can wear this dress on any given day.
Aside from fun colors like magenta, they added colors like army green and midnight blue.
Tilia comes out with four collections a year and can be found at major fairs and pop ups in Manila and in its online store- https://www.mydomesticity.comcollections/tilia.
