Former President Rodrigo Duterte is set to return to Manila tomorrow Tuesday.
According to former Palace spokesman Harry Roque, Duterte’s plane will land at 4:35 PM at NAIA Terminal 3.
“Former PRRD is scheduled to arrive in Manila bukas 11 March 1635H (4:35PM) via Cathay Pacific at Terminal 3. Pls share this information para malaman ng bayan,” Roque shared in a message to reporters.
Duterte left the country on Friday to attend a gathering with overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong. He also campaigned for his party PDP-Laban’s senatorial candidates.
Earlier reports claimed that Duterte left the country in an attempt to evade authorities as a Red Notice was reportedly issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against him in connection with the war on drugs during his time as mayor of Davao City and continued under his presidency.
ICC has yet to confirm if there is a warrant of arrest issued to the former President.
